            MUSHROOM FARMING FROM PALM OIL WASTE MALAYSIA

            PROJECT OBJECTIVES
            The main objective of this project is:

            1. To cultivate and produce 5,000 – 10,000 tonnes of Volvariella Volvacea (Paddy Straw Mushroom) annually for nationwide and global distribution using home grown developed technology.
            2. To process and produce mushroom compost from Paddy Straw and Empty Fruit Bunch waste collected from Palm Oil waste and other locations to facilitate the mushroom cultivation and production for local farmers.
            3. To setup a commercial High grade facility (GMP, HACCP & ISO Certificate), Halal-certified, Organic mushroom cultivation plant in Kalimantan Selatan, Terenggak and Jati Luhur in Indonesia.
            4. To setup a commercial Empty Fruit Bunch and Paddy Straw processing facility to develop mushroom substrate for mushroom cultivation by Algaetech and local farmers.
            5. To encourage participation from local farmers to produce paddy straw mushroom by supplying mushroom compost.
